A: It’s a play on words inspired by the 80’s hardcore band MINOR THREAT

A: Diner Threat is located in Berkeley, CA
Q: Do you only review Bay Area restaurants, bars, and events?
A: We review everywhere we can… but due to our day jobs we tend to stick to Northern California. We are always looking for people who are interested in contributing to the site.
Q: Do you only review vegetarian restaurants?
A: The founder and main contributor of Diner Threat is a vegetarian. Thus... most of the material is veggie/vegan oriented. However... we are open to reviews submitted by the public.
Q: What does punk and hardcore have to do with food?
A: There is a reason that so many musicians and artist are vegetarians and vegans. The life of an artist usually exist outside of social norms. Punk bands often sacrifice financial security and steady relationships to pursue their passion. Choosing to be more conscious of what you put in your body and where your food comes from is, unfortunately, also outside of social norms.
